Major Updates

Wow I am behind and I am very sorry for that. The holiday season seemed to keep me pretty busy. Plus the old computer crashed with all our photos making it hard to blog. Now I am setting in front of the T.V. watching a movie while typing on the new laptop which is awesome. We wanted to get a laptop due to converting the computer room/James's sports paradise into a nursery. More about the nursery later.

First and foremost a couple thank yous. Thank you so much to our wonderful parents and the amazing Christmas they gave to us. Plus thank you for being so generous to the little one at the Baby Shower that Kentfields hosted. LILY is really going to love all her gifts.

YES the name has been released...James is no longer holding it hostage. Our little girl is LILY!! Still unsure of the middle name.

Thank you to everyone who attended the shower. I was so surprised by all the lovely gifts they are delightful. I have had a great time looking at them time and time again. The games were a hit and I really enjoyed them.

Well the nursery is underway...thanks to our grandparents we were able to splurge on Lily's bedding, which is super soft.

Now that we are back in New Orleans we are settling in. Teaching is going great the girls I teach are so sweet and they make my job wonderful. James has started a new job that will hopefully lead to more opportunities in the future. He is the Athletic Ticket Manager for the University of New Orleans. He is going to be very busy working all the basketball and baseball games for the remainder of the year. Hopefully Lily and I will be able to enjoy some sunshine and baseball this spring.

The pregnancy is great. She is moving around a ton and likes to press her butt and head really hard into my stomach. I feel wonderful most days and James and I are getting outside to walk on a regular basis... I am just really slow. I get tired and sore in the evening. Sometimes I feel like my stomach might just fall off. I am hoping she is nice and settled in until the end of March. I go to the doctor again Monday so more updates then.

Having you here for Christmas was a wonderful gift for us and a great time. The shower was great fun too. The nursery looks like it is starting to take shape, now all it needs is that sweet baby. But we hope she is settled in nicely until the end of March too. Although, the 21st would be nice...first day of spring and all. So glad you are blogging again and sharing pictures...we miss you all.
